This reputable online business news platform is looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to compliment it’s existing sales team to help grow its commercial client base.

The right individual will have experience in outbound sales and will be eager to sell a digital proposition including content, email and display marketing options and campaigns to clients sourced and won as part of a full outbound sales process. Previous B2B experience is desirable.

This role will centre on winning new business and managing new and existing key clients, with monthly revenue targets.

You will have responsibility for:
• Identifying, approaching and converting new clients
• Selling a range of digital marketing options both regionally and nationally
• Achievement of personal monthly revenue targets
• Representing the business at networking events and by prospecting via phone, email and in virtual and face-to-face meetings
• Account managing new and existing clients
• Helping to developing the commercial proposition and strategy of the business, as part of the wider sales team

This is a hybrid working position with a mix of office based and home working at the discretion of the management team.

The position includes uncapped commission on sales in addition to the basic salary. You will work in a business that values its staff and their contribution.
