This Heating & Air-conditioning Company based in Kent are looking for someone to join their team to assist with the business compliance, to work closely with the company directors as they aspire to obtain higher certification levels, namely ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

They are a well-established family run business working for blue chip clients looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the team.

Working in a fast paced and friendly environment you will be based from their head office in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Tasks will include, but not limited to:
- Fully manage supply chain including issuing pre-qualification forms, collating and evaluating documentation returned
- Chasing outstanding/expired documentation, including contractor insurances
- Document control, ensuring portals up to date and current
- Visual office inspections on a monthly basis
- Assisting to issue and close out NCRs
- Complete weekly fire alarm and flick test
- Monitoring and implementation of waste streaming and reduction initiatives
- Ensuring all waste is disposed of in accordance with regulatory requirements and all records retained accordingly
- Ensure all suppliers used for transportation/collection/disposal of waste have the appropriate registration for the waste that they transport
- Monitoring, restocking of uniform and PPE to ensure adequate supply is available
- Training management, scheduling refresher training, obtaining training agreements and collating certification on employee portals
- Adding assets to register, ensuring appropriate inspection/testing/calibration intervals are set
- Tooling schedule, monitoring the checking in and out of company tools and chasing returns where required
- Ensure ladders are inspected and records retained and current
- Completion of PQQ, SSIP renewals, management of compliance portals
- Assist the operations manager/managing director with day-to-day operations of the business including service, procurement and project departments

Training Required:
- Previous experience working in a compliance role is preferred
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 preferred
- Training will be carried out in accordance with training policy
- To support your continual development you may be asked to attend additional training courses
- The successful candidate will be provided with the appropriate training with both ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018

- Competitive salary between £20,000 to £24,000 depending on experience
