This is an excellent opportunity if you are an experienced Supply Chain Analyst to join our busy purchasing team. We are a well-established global B2B and B2C consumer branded goods company.

The role will offer the flexibility of some home working and working at our UK Head Office in Castleford, West Yorkshire.

Role purpose

To support the Purchasing Manager, manage stock levels, supplier relationships, analyse data, forecasting and planning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Regular analysis of supply and demand using Supply Chain Planning software and reporting findings
- Complete supplier schedules and have responsibility for purchasing and maintaining required stock levels
- Identify inventory issues and provide solutions
- Monitoring of slow moving and obsolete stock, providing regular updates and reports
- Acquire data from multiple sources and work with Sales Managers to formulate future sales forecast procurement
- Work alongside the Purchasing Manager to monitor and manage key inventory measures such as stock turn, inventory provisions and inventory to budget
- Monitor lead times, availability and vendor performance whilst maintaining supplier relationships
- Work closely with other departments including Sales, Warehouse, Finance and Marketing
- Regular contact with colleagues within our global group of companies to share information
- Work alongside our Freight Forwarder to monitor market changes and report on findings
- Item management and processing including updating existing information and overseeing the implementation of new products

Your skillsets will be vital to making this role a success and so you must be competent in:
- A minimum of 3 years Supply Chain and Data Management systems
- Working with high SKU counts and multiple suppliers
- Maintaining relationships
- Strong Excel and data manipulation skills with the ability to process into reports
- Making decisions based on analysis, working knowledge and judgment
- Global Freight, Tariffs and UK import regulations. Experience with Import Certification would be an advantage

- Diligent in completion of key tasks & projects within given timeframe
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
