Independent growing family-run business who have been trading for over 50 years have a full time position available for an experienced HGV technician / mechanic; operating in a modern working environment including a fully heated workshop, Redmount bluetooth mobile lifts and TEXA diagnostic equipment.
Duties include inspection, servicing and MOT preparation. Presenting vehicles for MOT at various locations. Diagnosing and repairing faults. General maintenance on all makes of vans, HGV and PSV's, so work is always different day to day.
Tools essential, HGV licence ideal but not essential
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week. Any time past 5pm is time and a quarter. Saturday shifts are paid at time and a quarter, and are available most weekends (8am-1pm). Regular opening hours only - no shift work. They are looking to recruit a long term position.
